One Mother to Another Q+A (Video Blog)

Here’s a video blog where I answer some of your questions about the transition from one to two kids, co-parenting with Adam, my writing process and how I came to be so open about being imperfect on the Internet. Sorry it’s so long, but I hope you enjoy!

One Response to One Mother to Another Q+A (Video Blog)

It is, in part, because of your page that I have become so open and so forthright about my feelings. I felt the same way about being open and honest, I don’t want the negativity of others to crash against my vulnerability. It is always a hard choice to open yourself up to millions of potential people on the internet. Yet, on the other hand you are uncovering a window of light for those who felt as if they were the only ones. Ones who may otherwise have been left to feel lonesome in their feelings. I really commend what you do on your page and I appreciate your honesty.

My Adam and I have been together for just over nine years. We clash and yet compliment each other’s idea of parenting. There isn’t a doubt he is more traditional in his parenting and I have a more (in line with today’s world) Non-Traditional approach. I believe in homeschool, homesteading, and natural exploration, play-based upbringing. He believes in public schools, video games (he’s a gamer), and lots of TV. So there have been some clashes between what road we’re going to take. Discussions have been had. The one topic we very adamantly disagree on is the homeschooling. Currently we live in city limits (of our small town) and the kids attend public school. It is against my wishes, but I can’t have everything my way.. Or so people tell me. 😉

I enjoyed your vlog and I hope to see more in the future!! You’re doing great things for mother’s everywhere.
