Simple Clothespin Activities for Toddlers

As I’ve mentioned before, the majority of activities I do with Chase are exceedingly simple. Having taught preschool for several years, I learned over time that young children have very short attention spans and putting together complicated activities is usually a recipe for disappointment (for the adult who set it up, that is.)

These simple clothespin activities for toddlers (ideal for 1 1/2 to 3 year olds) are perfect for honing their fine motor and cause and effect skills. Each of them uses household products that you probably have lying around right now and they all take literally seconds to set up. They’re the kind you can throw together and let them use for a few minutes, then pull out again whenever they need a quick activity. I hope your toddler enjoys these as much as Chase does.

All activities were taken from The Toddler Busy Book: 365 Creative Games and Activities to Keep Your 1 1/2-to-3-Year-Old Busy.
